Picture it: over 800 guests, all decked out in their best retro‑cowboy gear, gathered outside by the water park at the JW Marriott. Boots, hats, fringe, denim—everywhere you looked, it felt like a scene straight out of a modern Wild West celebration.
And right in the center of it all? Gunpowder Soup, ready to turn a corporate event into a full‑blown party. The preferred entertainment corporate band from San Antonio!
A Western Night Done Right
The atmosphere was already buzzing before the first note was played. The food was incredible—Texas‑style spreads that made people go back for seconds (and thirds). But once the sun dipped and the lights came up, the real fun kicked in.
Gunpowder Soup opened with the perfect vibe, pulling the crowd in immediately. But the moment that truly ignited the night was when the band launched into “Boot Scootin’”—and suddenly the dance floor turned into a massive line‑dancing highway. Rows and rows of CoreTrust guests stepped, scooted, and turned in perfect cowboy rhythm.
Then, in a smooth pivot for the northern dancers in the crowd, the band fired up “Footloose.” The cheers were instant. The dance floor exploded again, this time with high‑energy kicks and spins.
