To book Gunpowder Soup, simply contact us through our website or give us a call. For 25+ years, we handle in-house bookings directly. We want to know what services you need for your event or wedding so we like to communicate directly with clients. DMC planners from out-of-state are invited to connect directly through our office. Have I said direct enough?! If you are booking through Access, CE, Goen South , Cohera, please contact the office if you have any questions.
Gunpowder Soup has their own professional equipment and lights. For over 500 guests, we hire a professional sound company to help with extra PA. The band utilizes talk-back mics, IEMs which means no amps or sound from the stage. The sound is totally controlled by our sound engineer.
Gunpowder Soup features a versatile full variety band, with options for different-sized ensembles to fit your event’s needs and space. Member size can range from 5 – 7 with 2 sound engineers. Gin Ricky, our vocal jazz group, has many options depending on your budget and needs.
Absolutely! We encourage clients to provide a setlist or specific songs, ensuring a personalized and memorable musical experience tailored to your event. We have a small fee for learning and rehearsing a new song that is not listed on our Song List.
We are based in Central Texas so we love to travel to the Texas Hill Country wedding venues, Corpus Christi for conventions near the coast, high tower corporate events in Austin, Texas Hill Country where the longhorns roam, and we have special place in our hearts for San Antonio.
